Spin correlations due to antishadowing
Abstract The effects of antishadowing related to the spin correlations of particles in multiparticle production are discussed. It is shown that significant spin correlations should be expected at the LHC energies.

Interacting fluids generating identical, dual and phantom cosmologies
Abstract We find the group of symmetry transformations generated by interacting fluids in spatially flat Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) spacetime which links cosmologies with the same scale factor (identity) or with scale factors a and ...

First results of the EDELWEISS-II WIMP search using Ge cryogenic detectors with interleaved electrodes
Abstract The EDELWEISS-II Collaboration has performed a direct search for WIMP dark matter with an array of ten 400 g heat-and-ionization cryogenic detectors equipped with interleaved electrodes for the rejection of near-surface events. Six months...

Corrections to the fine structure constant in D-dimensional space from the generalized uncertainty principle
Abstract In this Letter we compute the corrections to the fine structure constant in D-dimensional space. These corrections stem from the generalized uncertainty principle. We also discuss in three-space dimension.

Experimental determination of the effective strong coupling constant
Abstract We present a first attempt to experimentally extract an effective strong coupling constant that we define to be a low Q 2 ...

Improved parametrization of the growth index for dark energy and DGP models
Abstract We propose two improved parameterized form for the growth index of the linear matter perturbations: (I) γ ( z ) = ...

Reconstructing quintom from Ricci dark energy
Abstract Holographic dark energy with Ricci scalar as IR cutoff called Ricci dark energy (RDE) probes the nature of dark energy with respect to the holographic principle of quantum gravity theory. Scalar field dark energy models like quintom are...

“Kerrr” black hole: The lord of the string
Abstract Kerrr in the title is not a typo. The third “r” stands for regular, in the sense of pathology-free rotating black hole. We exhibit a long search-for, exact, Kerr-like, solution of the Einstein equations with novel features: (i) no curvature ...

A slant on warped extra dimensions
Abstract We propose an orbifolded, warped, extra dimension scenario in which the visible brane is not parallel to the hidden brane. This leads automatically to Lorentz violation in the visible, four-dimensional world. The background solution to the...

Does the Σ(1580)32− resonance exist?
Abstract Precise new data for the reaction K − p→π 0 Λ are presented in the c.m. energy range 1565 to 1600 MeV. Our analysis of these data sheds new light on claims...

Evidence for the absence of gluon orbital angular momentum in the nucleon
Abstract The Sivers mechanism for the single-spin asymmetry in unpolarized lepton scattering from a transversely polarized nucleon is driven by the orbital angular momentum carried by its quark and gluon constituents, combined with QCD final-state...

Dark energy, induced gravity and broken scale invariance
Abstract We study the cosmological evolution of an induced gravity model with a self-interacting scalar field σ and in the presence of matter and radiation. Such model leads to Einstein gravity plus a cosmological constant as a stable attractor...

Implications of neutrino mass generation from QCD confinement

Some inequalities for the generalized parton distribution E(x,0,t)
Abstract We discuss some constraints on the x and t-dependence of E(x,0,t) that arise from positivity bounds in the impact parameter representation. In addition, we show that E(x,0,0) for the nucleon vanishes for x→1 at least as rapidly as (1−x)4....

Primordial perturbation in Hořava–Lifshitz cosmology
Abstract Recently, Hořava has proposed a renormalizable theory of gravity with critical exponent z = 3 in the UV. This proposal might imply that the scale ...

Testing the RRPP vertex of effective Regge action
Abstract We discuss the possibility of checking the vertex with creation of two real gluons in collision of two reggeized ones (RRPP) which can reveal themselves in process of scalar meson production in high energy peripheral nucleon collisions....

Fundamental structures of M(brane) theory

Perfect fluid dark matter
Abstract Taking the flat rotation curve as input and treating the matter content in the galactic halo region as perfect fluid we obtain a space–time metric at the galactic halo region in the framework of general relativity. We find that the...
